Translating one word can take hours

Quite often, technical translations have very little text. An industrial diagram, machinery components, technical specifications, a certificate of approval, food labelling or railway assembly instructions may contain very little text, but it is always very significant and highly specialised. In these cases, it is not enough just to know the language: we need to consult experts in the subject. Translations MON has a team of specialist advisors (some in-house, others outsourced), enabling us to find the exact word for the concept to be translated.

Once the translation has been done, it is important to verify that the finished text is in keeping with current use in the sector in question. This is why our Quality Assurance process is so important.
